In a debate about different alternatives to meat protein, organised by the Portuguese Compound Feed Association (IACA), researcher Bruna Filipa Faria, from the CATÓLICA-LISBON School of Business & Economics, presented the results of her study: ‘Insects in compound feed: market opportunities and prospects for consumer acceptance’.

In the FNA25 colloquium ‘Insects in Food: The present and future of the market’, Professor Ana Isabel Costa from CATÓLICA-LISBON School of Business & Economics presented a study of the ‘European Food Market for Insect Protein’, while researcher Bruna Faria discussed the potential of insects for animal feed, in a presentation titled ‘Animal Feed - Sustainable Consumption in the European Market’. Lastly, Professor Rui Costa Lima, from CATÓLICA-PORTO School of Biotechnology, presented results regarding 'Sensory Analysis and Product Perception'.
